看罷Captain Marvel，感覺只是一般，但當朋友談及女主角憑抖室這電影榮獲第88屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳女主角時，我便感興趣她於這電影的表現。
我沒有看過電影簡介便開始看，初時在想女主角是否患有精神病，房間裡的一切都屬於女主角幻想出來。劇情很快便令我知道我的猜測出錯了，同一個場景，一個房間內，能拍到的畫面的確豐富，難怪Jack在後段說奇怪為何房間變小了。
Brie Larson的表現的確比在Captain Marvel好，不過我覺得是因為劇種及角色本身可發揮的程度實在相差太遠，再加上飾演Jack的Jacob Tremblay太好戲了，有一個能帶動入戲的對手，要演好這個角色可以說是事半功倍了。
一般這類電影逃出生天後就是結局，但抖室令我有點意外，就是逃了出去還有差不多一個小時的劇情，我初時還以為Jack逃了出去後，遲遲未能向警員表示媽媽的情況，會令Joy置於危險之中，不過電影不是向這方面發展，反而後段主要是描寫兩位適應新生活的情況。
當以為有17年在正常世界生活的Joy，被困七年後，會比從來沒在正常世界生活過只有5歲的Jack容易適應，但剛巧相反。Joy對於沒有嘗試令Jack有一個正常的童年，不斷自責，但其實她當時真的有選擇嗎？或者她的自責是出於沒有嘗試過？在那種情況下，身心已被傷害得體無完膚，沒經歷過這種事的人很難作出批評，而且有批評別人的需要嗎？感覺那段情劇有點奇怪，而且Joy與媽媽吵過後突然接受傳媒採訪也有點不明所以，劇情轉折得有點突兀，不過電影走向需要這樣。幸好，Jack的力量最後能成功傳送給Joy，令處於低潮的Joy漸漸回復。
其實我認為如果沒有Jack的存在，Joy未必能撐到七年，而且被困七年後還會有衝勁嘗試去逃走？
所以，整齣電影成功關鍵都在Jack。

There’s so much of “place” in the world. There’s less time because the time has to be spread extra thin over all the places, like butter. so all the persons say “Hurry up! Let’s get going! Pick up the pace! Finish up now!”. Ma was in a hurry to go “boing” up to Heaven, but she forgot me. Dumbo Ma! So the aliens threw her back down. CRASH! And broke her.Jack
There are so many things out here. And sometimes it’s scary. But that’s ok. Because it’s still just you and me…Jack
